A connection to create your account, but none for everyday use

Each permission maps to a specific feature. You can refuse all of them: the app remains usable, with the corresponding functions turned off.

Camera	Take a relative's portrait, or photograph an old document, straight from a profile.
Photos and media	Attach a photo already on your phone to a story or to a profile.
Microphone	Record an elder's voice: the pronunciation of a name, a praise, a memory.
Biometrics	Lock the family vault with a fingerprint or face recognition. The verification is done by the phone.
Notifications	Remind you of a family anniversary, or tell you that a contribution is waiting for your approval.
Network access	Create your account, back up your vault and receive app updates.
