You may request the deletion of your Tunnda account and of all the data associated with it at any time. This page describes how to proceed, in line with Google Play's data deletion requirements.
How to request deletion
Send an email to amilcar@tanouacademy.com from the address associated with your Tunnda account, with the subject line "Account deletion". State the name of the account concerned in the message.
We will ask you to confirm your request so that we can be sure it really comes from you. Once the confirmation is received, the deletion is set in motion.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, name, authentication credentials
- The person profiles you created, and the kinship ties attached to them
- The stories you wrote
- The photos and audio recordings you uploaded
- Your role and your membership of the family vault
What may be kept, and why
- Data the law requires us to keep, for the applicable statutory period.
- The support exchanges you have had with us, kept for as long as is necessary to handle any dispute.
- The technical backups of our infrastructure, whose rotation results in permanent erasure within a maximum of thirty days.
Time frame
Deletion is carried out within thirty days of the confirmation of your request. You receive an email confirmation once the operation is complete.
Before deleting: export
Deletion is final and irreversible. Before starting the procedure, we strongly recommend that you export your data from the app, in GEDCOM format or as text. That way you keep the history you have collected.
Data about the other members
A family memory is collective. If other members of your family have contributed to the same vault, the content they created belongs to them and is not deleted with your account. Conversely, the profiles you created about other people are deleted along with your account, unless you instruct us otherwise.
